UV LED customisation options
A variety of UV LED customisation options are available for a GEW UV LED system. GEW deliver a complete integrated UV curing solution; including LED arrays, cooling equipment, power supply and user control systems. This means that any number of these options can be easily integrated into your system, to suit your specific application.
UV LED modules
Available in a range of wavelengths to suit different applications in a range of markets. Multiple modules are arranged in various configurations to span the desired length and width.
Substrate cooling
Controlling substrate temperature is critical for many applications. GEW’s array of cooling options ensure even the most powerful UV systems do not damage your process material.
Inert gas curing
Oxygen inhibits the UV curing mechanism. GEW’s inert gas curing chambers efficiently remove oxygen and improve the curing process to ensure your system is optimised.
Quartz window
In the majority of cases, it is best to have a direct path of radiation from the UV lamp to the target area. However, in some cases, the application necessitates a quartz glass filter to be installed.
Wire guard
A barrier to prevent substrates from coming into contact with the UV lamp, for example in the event of a web break or sheet crash. A wire guard is fitted over the light-emitting window to provide protection.
