GEW is a longstanding supporter and sponsor of Reigate Lawn Tennis Club (RLTC) and has recently replaced all of the court-side sponsored screens at the Surrey club.
This included extra-wide format banners alongside seven of the club’s eight courts, giving them a smart new look and at the same time providing essential screening for the players.
RLTC was founded in 1906 and has seen much action and excitement over the years. A former member of the club, Phyllis Mudford-King, won the Wimbledon Ladies’ Doubles Championship in 1931.
They continue to maintain high-quality courts and are a busy, friendly volunteer-led club located on Manor Road, near Reigate town centre. The courts are all-weather and floodlit, which adds to the popularity of the club with its many members.
Gillian Rae, a Director at GEW and a member of Reigate Lawn Tennis Club, comments: “We are delighted to support the club in this way and to enhance the facilities for the benefit of its members. It is an excellent centre for the sport and brings great enjoyment to so many.”
RLTC also has a vibrant junior tennis programme. with a third of the nearly 600 strong membership being at junior level. For more information about the club, visit: http://www.reigateltc.org.uk/
